Spring looks pt 1 and Estee Lauder Mini Review

I know that I say that I will post more often every post.... truth is between actual classes and school work I have little to no time to sleep, none the less blog- but I have spring break coming up- so expect a lot more additions, to anyone still reading, that is.

anyways-- I did this look the other night before dinner with some friends and thought I would share with you.

This look used up the last of two foundation samples I got when I was back home- Estee Lauder Double Wear and Double Wear Maximum Cover, which I can't find here in Europe, so am having my mom pick up for me. The two colors I was matched in were 1C1 Shell and Cream Ivory respectively.

The combination of these two colors matches spot on to my skin, super matt, doesn't need a powder (one less step, right?) and doesn't budge. I have worn this for a good 15 hours without it acting patchy, which is pretty amazing if you ask me. Its also extremely full coverage due to the Maximum cover, which is actually great for me right now because I've got some nasty hormonal acne that has plagued me recently. I must admit that its quite a shock for me as my skin has been pretty perfect for most of my life, but that's a whole other story...

ONTO THE LOOK...
Face- Estee Lauder Double Wear in Shell, Maximum Cover in Cream Ivory, MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC20

Cheeks- Tarte Dollface Cheek Stain, MAC Daft Pink Mineralize Blush, NARS Ablatross Highlighter

Eyes- MAC Paintpot in Painterly as a base, MAC Paintpot in Dangerous Cuvee (on the lid, LE from Cham Pale), Urban Decay Naked Palette (colors used: Virgin as highlight, Toasted on lid, and Gunmetal to darken the crease), Urban Decay Glitter Liner in Glam Rock, Fiberwig LX Mascara, Guerlain Terracotta Kohl (on the waterline), and Anastasia tinted brow gel in Blonde

Lips- In this photo all I have on is Benefit Poseytint- but when I went out I wore Dior Lip Polish in Fresh Expert for a hint of pink with a glossy sheen.

I loved the extra sparkle from the glitter liner... and although I'm usually not a glitter fiend, I'm loving it more and more for nighttime looks!

till next time,

Blonde and the Beauty
